Taiwan reports on 8 Chinese planes, 4 ships in its air space PHOTO

The ROC's (Republic of China, more commonly known as Taiwan) Defence Ministry has detected four PLAN (People's Liberation Navy of China) naval ships and eight PLA (People's Liberation Army of China) aircraft in the region adjacent to the island in the past 24 hours.

The ministry announced this on its official Twitter account on November 27, stating that "8 PLA aircraft and 4 PLAN vessels around Taiwan were detected by 6 a.m.(UTC+8) today. ROC Armed Forces have monitored the situation and tasked CAP aircraft, navy vessels, and land-based missile systems to respond to these activities".
