Armenia destroys mosques in Karabakh, while Iran welcomes Armenian PM’s wife in Qom
REGION 21 January 2023 - 18:06
Armenian prime minister’s common-law wife Anna Hakobyan has recently visited Iran, which, apparently, is turning into a “brother” for the “country of stones” (Armenia already has a sister - France).
Hakobyan took part in an event organised by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi dedicated to the First International Congress for Women of Influence.
Hakobyan also met in Tehran with Iranian president's wife Jamileh Alamolhoda and the Iranian Vice President for Women and Family Affairs Ensieh Khazali, and even visited Qom, the religious centre of the clerical regime.
Iran’s authorities were trying to present themselves as a defender of Muslims.
However, they were contributing to Armenia’s aggression against Azerbaijan for 30 years, and now they welcome the wife of the prime minister of the country that destroyed Muslim shrines both in Armenia and in Karabakh.
Moreover, the representatives of the Iranian regime even decided to invade the sovereign territory of Azerbaijan during the 44-day second Karabakh war to delay the victorious advance of the Azerbaijani military for at least a few days, while during the years of occupation of Karabakh, cunning Iranians dismantled the houses and were transporting the property of Azerbaijanis to Iran. For example, Aghdam was plundered.
However, we are not surprised at the cynicism and hypocrisy of both Armenia and Iran. Recent history shows that the representatives of the Iranian regime are ready to welcome even the devil if it will have even the slightest chance to influence Azerbaijan’s independent course. The course, which, we want to believe, will soon be used by our brothers in South Azerbaijan.
