Russia ready to host Azerbaijani, Armenian FMs for peace talks, says Lavrov

On January 31, a telephone conversation took place between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov.

The ministers continued discussing ways to resolve the situation around the Lachin corridor, as well as Azerbaijan-Armenia normalisation, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Minister Lavrov confirmed the readiness of the Russian side to host foreign ministers of the two countries in Moscow for talks on a draft peace treaty between the two countries.

Furthermore, the ministers underlined the importance of resuming rhythmic work on all tracks of the Azerbaijani-Armenian normalization on the basis of tripartite agreements between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia.
