Ministry: There are 40 mineral deposits in Lachin

Azer Shukurov, an employee of the Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry has said that there are 40 mineral deposits in Lachin.

According to him, monitoring is currently underway to minimize damage to nature during the exploitation of mineral deposits, Report informs.

Noting that the next auction will take place on April 5, the representative of the institution added that the coordinates of the deposits in the territories liberated from occupation were transferred to ANAMA so that they would be given access to these territories.

“Our doors are open to every entrepreneur who wants to build a new production site. We can inform entrepreneurs about the coordinates of mineral deposits, their chemical composition and a number of other details,” he said.

“Lachin is rich mainly in building materials, limestone, facing stone, deposits of semi-precious stones, as well as deposits of mercury,” Shukurov added.
