Deputy PM: Date of meeting of working group of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia being agreed

The time and place of the next face-to-face meeting of the trilateral working group of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia will be determined, following consultations of the vice-premiers of the three countries, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk told TASS on May 19.

"Intensive consultations on the restoration of transport communications in the South Caucasus region are taking place today during the day between the deputy prime ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Armenia, and Russian Federation within the trilateral working group under our joint chairmanship," Overchuk pointed out. - The final decision on the place and time of the next face-to-face meeting of the trilateral working group will be made based on the results of the consultations".

Russian President Vladimir Putin, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a joint statement on the full cessation of hostilities in Karabakh on November 9, 2020. On January 11, 2021, they agreed to establish a working group at the level of the deputy prime ministers of the three countries to focus on the establishment of transport and economic ties in the region.
