Azerbaijanis in Moscow receive threatening calls amid rising tensions

On March 25, Azerbaijani community members in Moscow received threatening phone calls from unidentified individuals, as reported by Shamil Tagiyev, Chairman of the Azerbaijani Community of Moscow.

Tagiyev expressed concern about the increasing interethnic and religious tensions fueled by radical nationalist groups on social media platforms, Report says.

He urged fellow Azerbaijanis to stay vigilant and resist succumbing to provocations from extremists.
