Baku hosts 7th high-level working group meeting on Caspian Sea issues

Baku, became the focal point for discussions on Caspian Sea issues as it hosted the 7th meeting of the High-Level Working Group.

Spanning from May 6 to 7, the event was convened to address critical matters pertaining to the Caspian Sea region, Report informs.

Confirmed by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the gathering brought together key stakeholders and experts to deliberate on a range of topics crucial to the sustainable development and effective management of the Caspian Sea.

During the meeting, the parties continued to discuss the methodology of drawing straight exit lines in the Caspian Sea.

An overview of cooperation in the Caspian Sea was also held at the meeting.

The next meeting of the High-Level Working Group will be held on June 24-27, 2024 in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
