PM Pashinyan asserts border delimitation with Azerbaijan ensures Armenia’s security, sovereignty

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has emphasized that the ongoing process of border delimitation and demarcation with Azerbaijan, initiated in the Tavush region, is crucial for ensuring Armenia’s security.

During a parliamentary session, Pashinyan highlighted that this process, guided by the USSR Armed Forces General Staff maps from 1976, is essential for safeguarding Armenia’s independence and sovereignty, TASS reports.

"Border delimitation is a guarantee of security, there is simply no better guarantee. It is also a guarantee of independence and sovereignty," Pashinyan stated. He underscored that the process will continue along the entire border line, reinforcing Armenia's territorial integrity and national stability.
