Azerbaijan allocates frequencies for TV channels in liberated lands
The frequencies for television channels have been allocated in Azerbaijan’s East Zangazur and Karabakh economic regions.
The corresponding decision was made by the Audiovisual Council, according to Report.
The decision was made to expand the open (public) television broadcast package in the liberated East Zangazur and Karabakh economic regions.
According to the decision, the frequencies for TV broadcasting channels were allocated from the following radio and television stations:
- 47th TV channel from "Shakhyeri" radio and television station in the Khojavend district;
- 43rd TV channel from "Minjivan" automatic radio and television station in the Zangilan district;
- 26th TV channel from "Khanlyg" automatic radio and television station in the Gubadli district;
- 43rd TV channel from "Balasoltanli" radio and television station in the Gubadli district;
- 23rd TV channel from "Kalbajar" automatic radio and television station in the Kalbajar district.
According to the decision, national and regional TV and radio broadcasters (for the East Zangazur and Karabakh regions), which will broadcast from the channels allocated from those indicated in the list of radio and television stations, should conclude contracts to get these TV frequencies with the State Administration of Radio Frequencies of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, while contracts on the broadcasting service – with “Radio and Television Broadcasting and Satellite Communications” Production Union (“Teleradio”) of the ministry, and notify the Audiovisual Council.
