Azerbaijan, UN discuss transition to green energy

Azerbaijan and the UN have discussed the transition to green energy and cooperation in combating climate change within the framework of the COP29.

Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov wrote about it in his account on the social network X, Report says.

"In New York, we met with UN General Assembly President Dennis Francis. We had useful discussions on the development of relations between Azerbaijan and the UN on various platforms, realisation of the Sustainable Development Goals, cooperation in this direction," the minister wrote.
