Azerbaijani-Uzbek investment company eyes $600 million in new projects

An Azerbaijani-Uzbek investment company is currently evaluating 15 projects with a combined value of $600 million, Yusif Abdullayev, the executive director of the Agency for Promotion of Export and Investment (AZPROMO) said.

He informed reporters that investment decisions on several of these projects will soon be finalized, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

Abdullayev emphasized that this initiative will significantly enhance cooperation between entrepreneurs from both countries. The Azerbaijan-Uzbek Investment Company, registered as a JV LLC on December 18, 2023, under the name Azerbaijan Uzbek Investment (AUIC), is headquartered in Tashkent and has an authorized capital of $500 million.
