Starlink internet satellites successfully launched into orbit
The Falcon 9 rocket has successfully launched 22 mini-satellites into orbit, aimed at enhancing the orbital constellation of the Starlink global internet coverage system.
"New Falcon 9 booster debuts by delivering 22 Starlink satellites to orbit," SpaceX developer company wrote on X, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
The rocket was launched from the 40th launch complex at the US Space Force base in Cape Canaveral, Florida, on October 26 at 5:47 p.m. (GMT-4).
Approximately one hour later, the satellites successfully reached orbit after separating from the rocket's second stage. During the launch, the first reusable stage of the rocket, which was used for the 19th time, executed a controlled vertical landing on the drone ship "Just Read The Instructions," located in the Atlantic Ocean, after separation.
