Azerbaijani president warns Iran: No one can scare us!

Azerbaijani President, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev has said that Azerbaijan’s policy has continued for two years after the war.

The president made the remarks at an event organized in Shusha on the occasion of Victory Day on November 8, according to APA.

"We have done a lot of creative work for two years, we are actually restoring, and we will be restoring Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur", the president said.

President Aliyev said that Azerbaijan is strengthening its army and will strengthen it.

"Armenia should know that our own policy, rather than the statement of some Armenian patron, keeps us within the current framework. We are not afraid of anyone. If we were afraid of anyone, we would never have started the second Karabakh war", he said.

"Each of us was ready for death, guided by the motto: 'Either freedom, or death!' Even now we are ready for death, demanding the observance of our rights because, despite the fact that the war ended two years ago, there are still troubling moments, and I would like to address the Armenian people", the president said.

"They see the negative consequences of these thirty years of occupation. Now they see what occupation and losses are. We simply answered them, we were fighting on our land, drove the aggressor out from our lands", President Aliyev noted.

"They have to understand this, in order not to become the victim to those who are abroad for a second time, and want to consider this region as a playground. The main influence, the main word belongs here to us", the president said.

"Our army has shown heroism, professionalism and dedication. If necessary, we will once again demonstrate this and achieve what we want, everyone knows this, let those who conduct military exercises in support of Armenia on our border know this as well. Nobody can scare us", he added.
