Armenian PM, EU special rep discuss regional situation

The Special Representative of the European Union (EU) for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, Toivo Klaar, who is visiting Yerevan, met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

The meeting was also attended by EU Ambassador to Armenia Andrea Wiktorin.

According to Sputnik Armenia, the parties discussed the situation in the region.

The meeting also discussed the deployment of a new EU mission on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, and it was emphasized that this would contribute to security and stability in the South Caucasus.

Toivo Klaar and Nikol Pashinyan also exchanged views on the situation on the Lachin road.
