Azerbaijani President expresses gratitude to governments of partner countries of SGC project

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has said that while using the opportunity, he would like to express gratitude to the governments of the countries that are Azerbaijan’s partners, namely, Türkiye, Georgia, Greece, Bulgaria, Albania, Italy, and new partners - Romania, Moldova, and Hungary.

President Aliyev made these remarks at the ninth ministerial meeting within the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council and the first ministerial meeting within the Green Energy Advisory Council in Baku on February 3, according to Azertag.

The president also expressed special gratitude to the European Commission for constant support and excellent leadership.

“Moreover, I would like to express deep gratitude to the governments of the US and UK for constant support of our initiative and providing a solid basis for broad cooperation, including investment opportunities and funding,” the president stressed.
