The first child has been born in Aghali village of Azerbaijan's Zangilan district liberated from Armenia's 30-year occupation in 2020.

He was born to a family of Zeynalovs, who are the natives of the Agali village, Caliber.Az reports.

The baby boy was named Turan. Currently, he is under medical supervision and has no health problems.

The newborn is the third child in the Zeynalovs family - Turan has two older sisters.

Resettlement to Aghali is the first step of the "Great Return" to the deoccupied lands. Before the occupation, there were three villages in this administrative territory. At that time, 40 families (154 people) lived in the First Aghali, 60 families (245 people) in the Second Aghali, and 161 families (675 people) in the Third Agali villages. At present, the total number of families from these villages is 352 (1,504 people).
