Clique of France's proxies obstinately pushes false Armenian narrative
This time Baku has plenty of questions for the Czechs

The Speaker of the Lower House of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Marketa Pekarova-Adamova held a joint press conference with her colleague Alen Simonyan in Yerevan on January 31. At the meeting, she said that she would "try to find out why Baku refuses Yerevan's initiatives".

"We will certainly use all our possibilities to influence the representatives of Azerbaijan to continue participating in the negotiations," said the head of the Czech Chamber of Deputies, promising to "express support for the Armenian people".

So we have a new addition to the cohort of young European functionaries who know little about politics but are eager to prove their usefulness to the big bosses. This clique is led by German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock. She is followed by Belgian minister Hadja Labib and her Dutch counterpart Hanke Bruins Slot. The curator of this group was until recently the steel machine of French diplomacy, Catherine Colonna, who has now handed over to another man of French statesmanship, the newly appointed foreign minister, Stéphane Sejourne.

There is little doubt that France is the driving force behind all the anti-Azerbaijani initiatives in Europe. It is this country that uses its weight in the Old World to push its foreign policy narratives in the EU. The other states, not powerful enough and lacking the will to form a coalition to counterbalance France, are forced to reckon with it. There is, of course, Germany, the EU's largest economy, but this tired lady, who has drowned her ambitions in guilt for the crimes of Nazism, is also trailing gloomily behind the brave Frenchman, pretending that she "wants it that way".

Paris is plotting intrigues against our country, the aim of which is the adoption of certain sanctions by the European Union against Azerbaijan in order to curb its development, as well as the growing alliance with Türkiye. Asked whether Prague could promise Armenia concrete security guarantees, the speaker of the Czech Chamber of Deputies recalled that her country is a member of the EU and other organisations, so efforts should be joint. "We should note that sanctions are not used as a mechanism of one country, but within these institutions," Pekarova-Adamova noted.

The general tactic is clear: Yerevan and its patrons make it appear that Baku is obstructing the peace process. "In particular, we are talking about Yerevan's initiatives on the mirror withdrawal of troops, mutual recognition of the territorial integrity of countries, the conclusion of a non-aggression pact, etc.," Armenian media reports quoting the Czech politician's words. This means that Europe has fully adopted the Armenian narrative and presents it as the only possible and fair one. Considering that this narrative is littered with kind words "for peace against war", at the same time it implies that the side that rejects them, i.e. Azerbaijan, is a priori aggressive and does not want peace.

Justifying ourselves in response to this vulgarity does not seem appropriate. Showing these arrogant young people their true place is much more important. In this regard, it would be worthwhile to remind Pekarova-Adamova of the already-mentioned incident with the Dutch Foreign Minister. Her visit to Azerbaijan was cancelled after her unacceptable attacks on our country.

In general, there are a number of questions about Czech politicians. After all, it is obvious that you are fulfilling an order from Paris. Is that why you fought against communism so that you could become errand boys and girls for the Elysee Palace? Don't you see that French foreign policy is doomed to failure, that the French always get into a mess? Do you want to get dirty in this company? Where's your pride, Czechs? Is that why you threw stones at Soviet tanks in 1968? If so, you shouldn't have.

We're also very worried about the Sudeten Germans. What have you done with three million of them? Did you throw them out of their homes? Did you collectively punish them for the occupation of your country by Nazi Germany? The Germans have a guilt complex, so let them keep quiet. We have no such complex. We say and will continue to say that the Czech government committed a crime by driving three million Sudeten Germans from their homes. And sooner or later the Germans will bring you a bill for it, don't doubt it. You'd better be ready to pay it and don't stick your nose into things you have no understanding of.
