Incumbent Azerbaijani leader wins snap presidential elections Caliber.Az infographic
The Azerbaijani Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has announced the final results of the February 7, 2024, snap presidential elections and submitted the relevant documents to the Constitutional Court for endorsement.
Incumbent President Ilham Aliyev received 92.12% of the votes cast and won the election, Caliber.Az reports.
The inauguration into office will take place within three days after the court approves the election results.
The final results of the CEC are as follows:
Aliyev Ilham – 4,567,458 votes (92.12%)
Oruj Zahid – 107,632 votes (2.17%)
Mustafa Fazil – 98,421 votes (1.99%)
Hasanguliyev Gudrat – 85,411 votes (1.72%)
Nurullayev Razi – 39,643 votes (0.80%)
Musayev Elshad – 32,885 votes (0.66%)
Aliyev Fuad – 26,517 votes (0.54%)
The voter turnout in the snap presidential election stood at 76.43 per cent.
