Amazon has officially launched its first batch of satellites for Project Kuiper, marking a significant step in the race to compete with Elon Musk's Starlink.
On April 28, 27 Kuiper satellites were sent into space aboard United Launch Alliance's Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Amazon's ambitious plan to build a 3,200-satellite constellation aims to offer global broadband coverage and challenge Starlink's dominance, especially as governments seek alternatives.
