UK Defence Ministry has shown on map locations of fierce battles in Ukraine.

Ukraine continues to hold the line and even goes on the offensive in certain sectors of the front. But in some areas, the situation remains extremely tense, Caliber.Az reports, citing the map of hostilities from the British Ministry of Defence, published on Twitter on June 20.

According to the map data, fighting in Kharkiv Region is getting tougher again. Ukrainian defenders have been able to advance in Izium Region over the past week, but the occupants are still trying to return to positions near Kharkiv.

Donbas remains the hottest spot. Russian troops want to capture the settlements of Luhansk Region. At the same time, Russian troops are preparing an attack on Slovyansk.

In the south of Ukraine, the situation is also quite complicated, as the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to move towards Kherson city. Also, Ukrainian defenders are attacking from Zaporizhzhya city.

The illegal and unprovoked invasion of Ukraine is continuing.
