Armenia, US to conduct Eagle Partner 2024 joint military exercises

Armenia is set to host the Armenia-US “Eagle Partner 2024” joint military exercises on July 15-24 as part of preparations for international peacekeeping missions.

Armenian Defence Ministry announced the upcoming event, Caliber.Az reports per Armenian media.

The exercises will see participation from the Armenian Armed Forces Peacekeeping Brigade, the US Army in Europe and Africa, and the Kansas Army National Guard.

The primary objectives of "Eagle Partner 2024" are to enhance the cohesion of units involved in international peacekeeping missions, share best practices in command and control and tactical communication, and boost the combat readiness of the Armenian unit.

The Armenian Defence Ministry emphasized the importance of these exercises in the preparation for peacekeeping missions, noting that units set to participate in international peacekeeping operations regularly engage in similar joint military exercises and training with partner countries.
