Baku, Minsk to continue mutual support in international organizations
Belarus and Azerbaijan have reaffirmed their determination on further strengthening of bilateral cooperation.
A statement by the Belarus Foreign Ministry said following the meeting of Azerbaijani FM Jeyhun Bayramov with his Belarus counterpart Sergei Aleinik, per Report.
The ministers expressed their confidence that the roadmap between the two countries signed in February 2024 will give a new impetus to the development of the whole range of bilateral relations between the two countries, the statement noted.
"The document envisages more than 60 specific measures aimed at developing topical areas of economic cooperation, increasing the volume of mutual trade in goods and services," the Foreign Ministry added.
The talks also focused on a wide range of issues of Belarus-Azerbaijan cooperation in the political, trade, economic, and humanitarian spheres, as well as interaction on international platforms.
The FMs paid special attention to the organisation of upcoming visits and high-level contacts, deepening trade relations, industrial cooperation and implementation of joint trade and economic projects.
The sides also agreed to continue mutual support within international organizations.
