Belarus president acknowledges issues needing discussion with Russian counterpart

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has acknowledged the presence of numerous issues that require discussion with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Lukashenko met with Chairman of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin who arrived in Belarus on Putin's instructions to attend the celebrations marking Independence Day and the 80th anniversary of Belarus' liberation from Nazi invaders., Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.

"Please, though we will see each other soon, convey my best regards to Vladimir Vladimirovich. We have a lot of problems that we have to discuss with him.

There are a lot of questions today, and general issues that we need to address," Lukashenko said.
