Georgia does not exclude reconsidering visa-free entry for Russians

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili stated that she cannot exclude the possibility of reviewing the country’s current visa-free program with Russia amidst the extreme influx of Russian citizens to the Caucasian Republic.

As TASS reports, the final decision is still to be confirmed.

“We cannot exclude the reconsideration of our visa-free program [with Russia], which is quite liberal at the moment. This decision will have to be made by the government together with the public”, the President said on October 17 at a joint press conference with Moldovian President Maya Sandu during her visit to Chisinau.
