Kazakhstan plans to boost oil exports through Azerbaijan

KazMunayGas JSC (KMG, Kazakhstan's national oil and gas company) plans to increase the volume of oil transportation through Azerbaijan, as stated in a statement by Chairman of the Board of KMG Magzum Mirzagaliyev.

Kazakhstan commenced oil exports through Azerbaijan in 2022 and the shipment amounted to 1.5m tons. In 2023, Kazakhstan’s shipment totaled 1.392m tons and for the year 2024, the plan is 1.5m tons.
