Russia downs Ukrainian drones over two regions
Russian air defence forces have intercepted one Ukrainian UAV over the Bryansk Region and destroyed another one over the Kaluga Region, Gazeta.ru reports, citing the Russian Defence Ministry.
According to the Ministry, the attack using aeroplane-type drones took place at around 08:00 Moscow time. One UAV was intercepted over the Bryansk Region and another was shot down over the Kaluga Region, whose governor Vladislav Shapsha specified that no one was injured in the attack. No damage to infrastructure was also recorded.
Before that, it was reported that on the night of 20 February air defence means destroyed over the Bryansk region three drones. Regional Governor Alexander Bogomaz noted that one drone was destroyed over Starodubsky municipality, and two more - over Pogarsky district. Now at the site of the fall of the UAV wreckage are working operational services.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian air defence shot down 96 Ukrainian drones and two HIMARS shells during the day.
