Türkiye, US discuss F-35 programme implementation

The Turkish and US defence ministries held consultations on the F-35 fighter aircraft production programme, from which Ankara was excluded due to the purchase of S-400 complexes from Russia.

"Delegations from the defence ministries of Türkiye and the US held a second round of consultations on the F-35 in Washington on January 18. The delegations agreed to continue consultations. The next meeting is scheduled to be held in Ankara in spring 2023," the Turkish Ministry of National Defence announced on its Twitter page, Caliber.Az reports.
