President Aliyev discusses with Charles Michel agenda of upcoming trilateral meeting

On October 6, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with President of the Council of the European Union Charles Michel in Prague, Czech Republic.

At the meeting, the significance of the meetings with the participation of Charles Michel in Brussels in the direction of normalizing the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations was noted, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani president's press service. President Aliyev thanked Charles Michel for his mediation mission. The head of state noted that Azerbaijan supports the Brussels format.

During the conversation, the agenda of the trilateral Azerbaijan-Armenia-European Council meeting, which is scheduled for next month in Brussels, was discussed. An exchange of views took place also on the prospects for partnership relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is in Prague at the invitation of President of the Council of the European Union Charles Michel and Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala to attend the European Political Union summit.

Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani president's press service, that President Aliyev and President Michel sat for a meeting on October 6.
