EBRD eyes to continue supporting Azerbaijan's economy

Azerbaijani First Deputy Economy Minister Elnur Aliyev has met with the Regional Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the Caucasus Catarina Bjorlin Hansen.

Azerbaijan’s successful partnership with the EBRD was noted at the meeting, the Azerbaijani Economy Ministry told АPА.

The first deputy minister informed about the priorities of Azerbaijan’s social and economic development and noted the opportunities for cooperation in achieving the set goals, as well as the potential for expanding ties in public-private partnerships, the green economy, and energy, in particular, renewable energy projects.

Hansen emphasised the long-term and fruitful cooperation between the EBRD and Azerbaijan and expressed the EBRD’s intention to continue supporting the Azerbaijani economy.
