Special operation arrests pro-Iranian news outlets in Azerbaijan

The Interior Ministry of Azerbaijan is conducting a special operation across the country against the Iranian spy network.

According to APA, the ministry's operation teams carried out an operation at the SalamNews and İnteraz news agency headquarters.

As a result of special operational measures, seven people were detained in Baku and other regions of the country, including A.T. Karimov, E.A. Rahimov, I.A. Alakbarov, M.N. Jafarov, H.H. Jabbarli, F.S. Abdulov, and A.A. Jumshudov.

These media outlets are said to be engaged in the propaganda of Iranian policy and to a greater extent proceeded from the interests of Iran.

Official information is yet to come on the ongoing operation.
