London affirms support for Baku on cybersecurity Statement by Ambassador

UK Ambassador to Azerbaijan Fergus Auld has said his country, the world's leading provider of services in the field of cybersecurity, is ready to share experience with Azerbaijan in this area.

"At a time when cyber attacks are targeting crucial important infrastructure and threatening our economy and society, combating these threats is very important. It is encouraging that President Ilham Aliyev has made the development of cyber security one of Azerbaijan's top priorities. And the UK, as a close partner, is ready to share its experience in this field," the Ambassador said at the opening of the UK Cybersecurity Expo in Baku, Report informs.

The event brought together representatives of British cyber security companies to demonstrate their capabilities in this field and establish partnerships with local companies.
