Israeli Embassy wishes Azerbaijan lasting sovereignty and stability

The Embassy of Israel in Azerbaijan has congratulated Azerbaijan on September 20, State Sovereignty Day, according to a post by the embassy on X.

“May this important national holiday bring lasting peace, prosperity, unity and strength to the Azerbaijani people. We wish the Republic of Azerbaijan unwavering sovereignty, stability and a bright future!” the embassy said.

September 20 marks Azerbaijan’s State Sovereignty Day, commemorating the restoration of full state sovereignty over the country’s entire territory in 2023. The national commemorative day was established by presidential decree in September 2024 and is observed annually.
