Prosecutor general calls Baku trial of Armenian separatist leaders historic event PHOTO

The trial in Baku of leaders of the Armenian separatist movement, who were convicted of war crimes and sentenced during the proceedings, was a historic event, Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev said.

Aliyev made the remarks during a ceremony at the new building of the Prosecutor General’s Office marking October 1, the professional holiday of prosecution service employees and the 108th anniversary of the establishment of Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General’s Office, Caliber.Az reports.

According to Aliyev, the proceedings against the separatist leaders represented a significant event in Azerbaijan’s legal history.
