Azerbaijani envoy, Latvian speaker discuss developing ties

Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Latvia Nermine Mustafayeva has met with Speaker of the Latvian Parliament Daiga Mieriņa to discuss strengthening relations between the two countries.

The aim is to build on the progress achieved so far and bring the two countries and their peoples closer together.

“I greatly appreciated today’s meeting with Speaker of the Latvian Saeima Daiga Mieriņa. We had a warm and constructive exchange on strengthening Azerbaijan–Latvia relations, deepening interparliamentary cooperation and expanding our economic ties. Looking forward to building on the progress achieved and bringing our countries and peoples even closer,” she wrote.
