Azerbaijan brings 30 more Ukrainian children for rehabilitation

Another 30 children from Ukraine have arrived in Azerbaijan to receive social and psychological rehabilitation services as part of a programme organised by the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.

The children will undergo a 10-day rehabilitation programme at the Gabala Children’s Rehabilitation Centre, operated by the agency, where they will receive medical, social and psychological support, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

The programme includes individual psychological consultations, group therapy, yoga and dance therapy sessions.

The children will also have access to therapeutic massage, a rehabilitation pool and baths, art therapy and other rehabilitation services.

Excursions to historical sites and museums in Shaki and Shamakhi are also planned as part of the programme.

To date, the Social Services Agency has brought nearly 500 children and young people from Ukraine to Azerbaijan and provided them with social and psychological rehabilitation services.
