Azerbaijan, Sudan eye stronger defence ties PHOTO

Azerbaijani Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has held talks with his Sudanese counterpart Lieutenant General Hassan Daoud Kabron on the sidelines of the 6th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition (ADEX-2026).

As Caliber.Az reports, citing Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defence, the meeting brought together a Sudanese delegation led by Kabron and focused on bilateral military-technical cooperation.

The sides exchanged views on prospects for further developing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Sudan in the defence sector and discussed other issues of mutual interest.
