Azerbaijan, UAE discuss military cooperation at ADEX-2026 PHOTO

Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates discussed the development of military and military-technical cooperation during a meeting held on the sidelines of the 6th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition (ADEX-2026) in Baku.

Azerbaijani Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov met on September 30 with UAE Minister of State for Defence Affairs Mohamed Bin Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei, who is visiting Azerbaijan to attend the exhibition, Caliber.Az reports per the ministry.

Hasanov highlighted the positive results achieved in recent years in the development of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE.

Al Mazrouei expressed appreciation for the organisation of ADEX-2026 and shared his positive impressions of his visit to Azerbaijan and participation in the exhibition. He also emphasised the importance of reciprocal visits and meetings, as well as the exchange of expertise.

The sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects for military and military-technical cooperation, joint military exercises, and intergovernmental dialogue on defence and security issues.
