Azerbaijan, Türkiye sign defence deals worth more than $500 million

Azerbaijan and Türkiye have signed defence contracts worth more than $500 million at the ADEX 2026 defence exhibition in Baku, Caliber.Az reports, citing Clash Report.

Under the agreements, Azerbaijan is set to acquire 14 HÜRKUŞ-II trainer aircraft, with the first deliveries reportedly expected before the end of the year.

NEW: Türkiye and Azerbaijan signed $500 million+ in defense deals at ADEX 2026 in Baku:

The newly signed agreements also cover a range of defence technologies and systems supplied by leading Turkish defence companies.

They include:

• ASELSAN — an agreement on the ALP-100 radar system under a memorandum of understanding;

• BAYKAR — the supply of MIZRAK unmanned combat modules;

• BAYKAR — the supply of the Antidote system;

• ROKETSAN — the supply of the BARBAROS coastal defence system.
