As the media reported the day before, Armenians illegally residing in the village of Zabukh in the Lachin district of Azerbaijan must leave this settlement before August 25, since it is after this date that the Lachin corridor will be returned to the control of the Azerbaijani side. At the same time, they were strictly ordered to leave their homes intact, since their true owners, the Azerbaijanis who were expelled from the Lachin district during the First Karabakh War, would return to them.

However, the Armenians would not be Armenians if they did not hastily loot the villages they were leaving behind. Just as they did when fleeing from the Kalbajar region, dragging even uprooted toilet bowls with them to Armenia...

As Armenian journalist Nairi Ohikyan said on his Facebook page, real plunder has begun in the village of Zabukh.

"In the evening of August 5, I received a phone call that a robbery was going on in Aghavno (Zabukh - Ed.). I call the head of the village of Aghavno, and again I get confirmation that there have been cases of robbery. Well, hurry up, while you still have the chance, go and destroy the houses built by our compatriots, steal what you can, and cut down trees along the Aghavno River. Even a group of government officials has entered the Aghavno area and started work. They are cutting down trees and taking people's property like hyenas. I'll rush others - hurry up, come in, steal, take away. Enjoy, dear people," Ohikyan wrote.
