ANAMA clears 97 anti-personnel, 8 anti-tank mines in liberated territories PHOTO

The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has released its weekly report stating that demining teams safely neutralised 97 anti-personnel mines and 8 anti-tank mines in territories liberated from occupation.

From February 2 to 8, operations in the districts of Terter, Aghdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khojavand, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil, Gazakh, and Zangilan, as well as in the city of Khankendi, also led to the neutralisation of 223 unexploded ordnance, Caliber.Az reports.

A total of 669.1 hectares were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance during this period.
