Azerbaijan’s Khojaly pays tribute to martyrs on Remembrance Day PHOTO

Martyrs' Alley in Khojaly, Azerbaijan, was visited on September 27 on the occasion of Remembrance Day.

According to the Department of Public Relations of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in Khankandi city and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, employees of state institutions and members of the public visited the alley to pay tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country's territorial integrity and sovereignty, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

During the visit, flowers were laid at the graves of the martyrs, while prayers were also recited.

The visitors noted that the Azerbaijani people have always honored the memory of their heroic sons who lost their lives in the Patriotic War and other battles. The heroism and self-sacrifice of the martyrs have been permanently etched into the history of Azerbaijan.
