Diplomats share heartwarming moment with children in Azerbaijan's Shusha PHOTO

A spontaneous meeting with children became one of the warmest and most memorable moments of the diplomatic corps’ visit to Shusha.

Representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to Azerbaijan met with young residents of the first residential complex, engaging them in a friendly conversation, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

The children spoke about the countries they liked, exchanged jokes with the visitors and eagerly answered their questions. The diplomats, in turn, enjoyed interacting with the young residents and even addressed them in Azerbaijani, surprising the children.

Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, also joined the conversation.

“The whole world has come to see you,” Hajiyev told the children.

The heartwarming exchange added a particularly personal touch to the official visit, becoming one of the most memorable moments of the delegation’s trip to Shusha.
