Armenia-EU partnership, peace talks with Azerbaijan take centre stage in Luxembourg
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting with European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas in Luxembourg, focusing on strengthening bilateral cooperation and regional stability.
The discussions centered on the finalization and ratification of a new partnership agenda between Armenia and the EU, as well as peace efforts between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
Both parties underscored the significance of implementing mutually beneficial initiatives, with particular emphasis on economic development and enhancing transport connectivity.
The officials highlighted the pivotal role that ongoing peace efforts between Armenia and Azerbaijan, alongside the agreements reached during the Washington talks in August, play in facilitating these collaborative projects.
Additionally, Mirzoyan and Kallas exchanged perspectives on emerging hybrid threats and explored effective mechanisms for conflict resolution, reaffirming their commitment to regional peace and security.
