Armenia, Greece sign 2026 defence cooperation programme
Armenia and Greece have formalised their bilateral defence cooperation agenda for 2026 by signing a new programme outlining joint activities for the coming year.
According to a statement from Armenia’s Ministry of Defence, cited by Sputnik Armenia, Armenian-Greek defence consultations took place on December 18 at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defence in Yerevan.
During the consultations, the two sides reviewed the outcomes of their defence cooperation in 2025 and held detailed discussions on priorities and plans for 2026. It was emphasised that, as a result of sustained joint efforts, cooperation between Armenia and Greece has reached a qualitatively new level.
The defence cooperation programme signed for 2026 envisages the implementation of several dozen activities to be carried out in both Armenia and Greece over the course of the year, further strengthening bilateral military ties and practical interaction.
