Armenian community stages anti-Azerbaijani action in Tehran

A massive anti-Azerbaijani rally has been organised by the local Armenian community in Tehran, demanding that Azerbaijan "immediately unblock the Lachin corridor".

The statement came from media expert Nairi Ohikyan, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media. 

About 4,000 people took part in the action. In addition to the Iranian Armenians, Gegham Stepanyan, a representative of the separatist regime in Khankendi, and Aspram Krpeyan, a member of the Armenian parliament, spoke at the rally.

It should be noted that against the background of mass protests, the Iranian authorities prohibit the holding of crowded rallies, but for Armenians, it is a "green light".
