Iran affirms readiness to strengthen ties with Armenia
Iran has expressed its willingness to deepen and maximize its relations with Armenia across all areas of mutual interest.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi conveyed this commitment during a telephone conversation with his Armenian counterpart, Ararat Mirzoyan, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
According to a statement posted on Araghchi's Telegram channel, the two ministers discussed various aspects of bilateral cooperation. Araghchi emphasized Iran's readiness to strengthen ties with Armenia and explore opportunities for enhanced collaboration in sectors that benefit both nations.
Mirzoyan, for his part, highlighted the importance of continuing consultations between Yerevan and Tehran, particularly in the context of regional developments. He also extended an invitation to Araghchi to visit Armenia, signalling a desire to further solidify diplomatic and economic ties.
The two ministers agreed to maintain regular consultations in order to further develop bilateral relations and coordinate actions on regional issues.
