Erdoğan says Türkiye’s years-long criticism of global politics proving true
In global politics, the world is gradually approaching a situation that Türkiye has been warning about for years, according to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
He said that the issues being discussed today in Davos are the same ones Türkiye has been raising on the international agenda for many years, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.
“Gradually, the world is moving toward what we have been saying. The criticisms we’ve been making about global politics for years are finally proving to be true,” the president said.
Erdoğan did not personally attend Davos 2026. Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan represented him at events like the ceremony for Trump's "Board of Peace."
Türkiye has increasingly positioned itself as a critic of the current global political order, frequently calling for reforms to the international system and warning against the deepening geopolitical divisions between major powers.
