Iran promises $40,000 reward for women capturing US soldiers

Iran's army has offered Iranian women a reward of 100 billion rials, around $40,000, if they capture a US serviceman in the event of a ground invasion.

Army representative General Mohammad Akraminia said any Iranian who provides the body of or captures an American soldier who has invaded Iranian territory would receive 50 billion rials, or about $20,000, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.

He said the reward for women would be twice that amount.

Akraminia also said Iran was prepared to consider financial payments to residents of other countries in the region for similar actions.
