Final word on Kanye West’s St. Petersburg concerts: Canceled PHOTO

Kanye West’s scheduled concerts in St. Petersburg have been officially canceled, said the US partner involved in organizing the rapper’s tour.

Access Opera, an American agency associated with the organization of Ye’s world tour, confirmed that the concerts, originally scheduled for October 10 and 11, will not take place.

“As previously stated before by me, the YE shows in St. Petersburg Oct 10/11 have been canceled. Please direct all ticket refund inquiries to Say Agency. This will be the last statement on the matter from Access Opera,” agency founder John Burton wrote.

The performances were initially announced at St. Petersburg’s Gazprom Arena for October 10 and 11. The venue later said it had not entered into a lease agreement with the organizer and would therefore be unable to host the concerts.

The arena and Say Agency subsequently issued conflicting statements over whether the performances would go ahead. The concerts were later removed from Ye’s official tour schedule, effectively ending uncertainty over their status.
