Armenian militants building combat positions in Karabakh VIDEO

According to news acquired by Caliber.Az from informed sources, in the morning on May 3, it was observed that Armenian militants were building fighting positions in the direction of the Khojavand district of Azerbaijan.

The illegal activities of the militants were taking place in front of the Russian peacekeepers, who, in violation of their direct duties, did not take any measures to prevent this provocation.

The video footage shows an armoured BTR-82A vehicle belonging to the peacekeeping contingent being parked on the territory of illegal activities of the armed Armenian group. However, the peacekeepers do not interfere in any way with illegal excavation and construction work.

Under clause 4 of the trilateral ceasefire agreement signed by Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia on November 9, 2020, the deployment of the peacekeeping mission of Russia should have been accompanied by the simultaneous withdrawal of the Armenian militants from the Azerbaijani territories.

The peacekeeping contingent is tasked to monitor adherence to the ceasefire within the perimeter of their temporary service area and prevent all illegal activities that could undermine the ceasefire.
